Weingut Ökonomierat Lind
Family-run organic winery in the 16th generation

ABOUT US

The love of wine has been at the heart of our family for generations.

Tradition & Innovation

Our cellar is the "nursery" of our wines. Through careful ageing, we allow them to develop their own character. Natural clarification and the absence of fining agents promise long-lasting enjoyment and pleasure without remorse. Healthy grapes are matured using the rare "sur lie" method: they lie on the fine lees until bottling and thus absorb more extract, fruit aromas and bioactive substances. Thanks to this long "mother-child contact" and malolactic fermentation, we can offer you quality wines with extraordinary harmony.

Terroir

Soil is origin:
Our fertile loess-loam soils around Rohrbach/Südpfalz with varying limestone (0.5% - 12%) and sand content produce rich, extract-rich organic wines. Go on a journey of discovery and get to the bottom of the fine nuances of flavor.

Nature & Ecology

As a family-run organic winery, we treat Mother Nature responsibly. The preservation of soil fertility and the promotion of biodiversity are at the heart of sustainable viticulture that produces natural yields. By sowing herbs and legumes, we promote biodiversity and maintain an all-round intact ecosystem. We love nature and what we do every day. That's why we farm organically and have long been a member of the German Organic Winegrowers' Association.
